Edge of Dock leveler is ideal for locations that cannot support the installation of a dock pit leveler, typically installed on the exterior with capacities between 20,000 and 50,000 lbs. Compact and self-storing units, Edge of Dock Levelers easily applied to a dock face, available in both mechanical and hydraulic designs. Edge of Dock’s are quick and easy to operate. After loading/unloading is complete and the truck is backed away, the leveler returns to it’s stored position. Important elements of any dock leveler include dock bumpers and in this case, block risers to align the bumpers with the leveler; black rectangles with 2 holes on either side of the leveler, used to protect the building structure from impacts.
