At Wilcox Door Service, we’re more than a commercial and industrial door company — we’re a trusted partner. Founded on the principles of reliability, community, and craftsmanship, we’ve served customers across Canada and the U.S. with expert service, innovative solutions, and genuine relationships.
From our roots as a family-owned business to our national presence today, we believe in doing things differently. We’re Indigenous-owned and proud of it, combining tradition with forward-thinking leadership. Our commitment to excellence runs deep, in every technician, every service call, and every customer relationship.
Respected Partners. Reliable Service. That's not just our slogan. It's our promise.
At Wilcox, we believe that people do their best work when they feel supported. That’s why we’ve built a culture around balance. Whether it’s having time with family, enjoying personal passions, or building a fulfilling career—we make space for it all.
We prioritize work-life balance because our people matter. From team outings and flexible work policies to wellness initiatives and mental health support, our workplace is built for real life, not just the job.
“You’re not just an employee here. You’re part of a team that lifts each other up.”
We embrace our roots and are committed to economic reconciliation. Through hiring, training, and partnerships, we uplift communities and contribute to a more inclusive economy.
With teams in Mississauga, Stoney Creek, and Orillia, and a growing U.S. network, we serve customers coast to coast while staying rooted in community values.
From service and installation to automation and AI-driven support tools, we bring the future of door service to every project.
Our people drive everything. From apprentices to executive leadership, we invest in training, growth, and opportunity for every team member.
We believe in building strong teams through real connection. That means more than just holiday parties (although we do those too). From company Tough Mudder runs to appreciation dinners and team-building events on our property, we’re always finding ways to bring our people together.
Our team-building philosophy is simple: trust, transparency, and shared goals. Because when people connect, they perform better, stay longer, and help build something great.
Bill Stewart is an industry veteran whose journey in the door business began in the 1980s. Rising rapidly from apprentice to technician, then sales, to eventually part-owner, Bill made the pivotal decision to forge his own path and launch a company of his own. Within five years, Select Overhead Door became the largest company in its city.
Since then, Bill has acquired multiple companies as part of his continued growth with Wilcox and personal ventures. He is passionate about health and longevity and is an active member of several biohacking organizations. When he’s not leading Wilcox, you can find him fly fishing, racing sailboats, or connecting with his Indigenous heritage through annual moose and fishing trips with the Bingwi Neyaashi Anishinaabek of Sand Point First Nation.
Bill has been a member of YPO since 2006, contributing through various forums and networks. He has served as an Officer for the Supplier Council with CAMSC and was a founding member of the Kitchen Cabinet for the Downie Wenjack Fund. Above all, Bill values family and is proud to work alongside his son Zach, daughter Sara, and wife Judy every day.
Zach Stewart brings over 15 years of industry experience and an innovative vision for Wilcox’s future. Starting in marketing and sales, Zach worked his way through operations and executive leadership roles, eventually becoming President. Under his leadership, Wilcox has more than doubled in size, launched national and international operations, upgraded every location, and transformed customer service and technology systems.
Zach serves on the Ontario Chapter Board of the Canadian Door Institute and is the Chapter Chair for YPO Canada East, which he joined in 2021. He is a proud member of the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation, contributing through board work with their Development Corporation, and reconnects annually with his heritage on a traditional moose and fish trip in Sand Point First Nation.
Outside the office, Zach enjoys fly fishing, snowboarding, Raptors basketball (he’s a season seat holder for both Raptors and 905), and being a new dad to his one-year-old child.
Lance Ross has over 15 years of industry experience and has been with Wilcox for more than 8 years. Initially joining as Sales Manager—despite a background in operations—Lance quickly proved his adaptability and leadership. For the past five years, he has served as General Manager, playing a central role in Wilcox’s expansion and operational excellence.
A loyal Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays fan, Lance is a former goalie who still brings that competitive energy to everything he does. He’s also a proud father of two daughters and someone who deeply values trust, integrity, and follow-through.
Operations Manager
Tom Swain joined Wilcox in 2023 as Installation Manager and quickly made an impact by streamlining order logistics and improving customer satisfaction. With over 20 years of experience in forklift service and construction operations, Tom’s background brought immediate strength to the team. His dedication and performance earned him the promotion to Operations Manager.
Tom is a big Blue Jays fan and an avid baseball player—even hitting the indoor fields at 2:00 a.m. during the winter. He’s also a passionate golfer who enjoys teeing off with his son whenever the weather allows. Tom is supported by a wonderful family—his wife, daughter, and son.

Scalability Officer
Kevin Robinson joined Wilcox in 2022, bringing over a decade of construction experience, including time as a Site Supervisor with Maple Reinders. Starting as Operations Manager, Kevin quickly distinguished himself by advancing the company’s use of technology and data reporting.
Now serving as Scalability Officer, Kevin focuses on the implementation of software, automation, and AI to help scale Wilcox’s systems for future growth. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys time with his wife and their one-year-old son.
Sales Director
Steve Merson is a recent addition to the Wilcox team, bringing a wealth of experience in sales leadership. He has helped companies scale into new markets—both geographically and by product line—through strategic vision and relationship building.
Steve is a sharp, analytical thinker and a natural connector. He is also a proud grandfather and speaks with great joy about his family.
With over 30 years in the door industry and more than 8 years at Wilcox, Terry Petcoff is the go-to expert when it comes to service. His background as a technician and service manager gives him unmatched knowledge of our equipment.
Terry plays a vital role across departments, helping technicians, estimators, and the sales team meet and exceed service goals.
Construction & Installation Manager
Enzo Adamo joined Wilcox over two years ago, bringing with him 25+ years of experience in door installation and operational leadership. His deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience make him an essential leader for our install department.
