The Solution

Wilcox Door Service supplied and installed a large-format high-speed fabric roll-up door with a black curtain and a substantial galvanized metal hood assembly, engineered for the opening’s width and the operational demands of the facility. The door’s curtain dimensions covered the full opening span at the required profile, and the galvanized hood construction provided the structural rigidity needed to support the curtain assembly at large format without the deflection or distortion that affects undersized hood assemblies on wide openings.

The black curtain material was specified for industrial-grade durability — abrasion-resistant and impact-tolerant for the physical demands of forklift and equipment traffic at a busy warehouse entrance. Cycle speed was configured to match the transit frequency of the facility, minimizing the time the opening is exposed during active operations.

Outcomes
