The Wilcox Door Service team recently partnered with the City of Toronto to complete a major door replacement project, upgrading four insulated steel sectional doors with new heavy-duty operators.
Each door was built for strength, performance, and efficiency:
✅ Insulated steel sectional doors with an R-value of 16 for superior energy efficiency
✅ Foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation for durability and strength
✅ Full perimeter weatherstripping for maximum protection
✅ Heavy-duty jackshaft operators with safety reversing sensors and remote operation
This project required careful coordination, early morning access, and specialized equipment to ensure a seamless installation while keeping the facility secure throughout the process.
